About the Opportunity

William Clarke College is seeking highly skilled Primary Teachers to join our Casual Teacher pool, with opportunities for both half day and full day engagements. 

Our approach to learning in the Primary years is best established in small groups. In addition to classroom teachers, students may also work with specialist teachers who have been allocated to deliver literacy and numeracy in a small group context.

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

  • Appropriate teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation
  • Demonstrate a passion for child-centred learning, and proven ability to effectively engage students.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the syllabus and assessment strategies.
  • Possess a work ethic reflecting a commitment to excellence in teaching.
  • Engage with Synthetic Phonics, Spelling Mastery and Number Sense programs, experience desirable.
  • Preparedness to engage with the College’s pedagogical initiatives within the College’s Curriculum Framework 
  • Possess excellent organisation and planning skills; including the ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities within strict deadlines. 
  • Display a commitment to continued professional growth through self-reflection and further learning.
  • Collegiate and a good team player
  • Actively support the College’s Christian ethos
  • The successful candidate will be required to hold or be willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Check in accordance with Child Protection legislation.
